Each year from the completed submitted application forms received by The Burnham Market Craft Fair, a selection process is carried out to award stalls to crafts people for the next craft show. The first rule of the selection process is that your goods must be hand crafted. Historically the amount of applications for stalls greatly exceed the stalls available for allocation with nearly 200 applications for just over 100 stalls .
The selection panel sets out to award stalls to crafters offering quality hand crafted individual goods within each category.
There is a small registration fee which goes towards the overall event insurance and other related set up costs. There is no pitch charge but stallholders make a donation (guide is 10% of the days takings), however the event is primarily a fundraiser, so donations are key and often stallholders donate more than 10% of their takings . All donations are recorded and taken into consideration for any future applications from the stallholder.
